How Do I determine what KV Leopard I have?

Im not going to name names and invite bashing here, but I purchased a gas to FE conversion for my boat from a supplier. Im quite happy with everything that I purchased, and it works really well. However, I was told I was getting a specific motor, but instead I got the Leopard 5692, water jacket already installed. I tried to remove the water jacket because I know the side of the Leo cans reads what motor and KV it is, but for fear of breaking a seal, I left it alone. How would I determine the KV? Or is there a simple way to get the water jacket off without damaging the seals? All I know is after a full run on 8s spinning a X452 prop, motor/esc/lipos and barely warm. Nothing over 100 degrees. I want to change my prop to something larger, but I would really like know what motor Im using before I buy. Suggestions?

You should be able to get new O rings for the jacket.I saw them somewhere,Kintec or here. You could put a few drips of veggie oil(it is just what I use to install them) inside the cooler for lubricant to slide the seals off the motor.

was the motor you thought you were getting a 1020 Kv I got one of those motors it cam with a leopard water jacket on it, I ran it with a 452 on 8s and like you said it was not hardly warm at all I think you may have the right motor and just a different water jacket that was the way mine was after I took off the jacket
