Aquacraft SV 27 L36/56 BL MOTOR ?

Hi all last weekend while running my Stark outboard tunnel hull i noticed on my Aquacraft L36/56 B/L motor the front motor plate drive coupler side had separated from the blue motor can. Which adhesive is most suited to re-attach the plate? The motor never really got nuch over 115 degrees farenheight .Would the water spraying and several blow overs contribute to this condition? That was a common problem with those motors.

Thick CA works. Read that one on hear a while ago. Did one of mine, still holding over a year later.
