    Hello,
I want to use 2 T5692 1320kV motors on 2 x 6S (6S1P per motor) with Tnrugy 180A esc. And if there is not enough power, I will upgrade to 8S.
I've read, that someone use the T5692 with 10S? Is that correct? At the hobbyking site is marked, that the motor only runs with 8S max.

    Best regards,
    Birger

That a big amount of power
if you want to run 8s or 10s choose a lower kv motor..

I plan on putting a 5692 1000kv in my DF41 on 8s. HK are out of stock though as usual. These sold out fast. Funny how they still have stock of the 5682 version but the 92 version says 1500 more watts of power.

@Brushless55: I hope, that the two T5692 are powerfull enough, else I will change to 8S.
I've got two Turnigy 180A esc up to 6S, so at first, two engines at 6S have to be enough.
          Thats the reason, why 1320kV.
1000kV@6S are only 21600rpm and I like a little bit more

What's your goal speed wise with the 1320kv motors on 6s?
and running 6s on the 1000kv motors is a bit low IMO...

What's speeds are you getting vs the 10S? For a big boat like this, it really moves and has a huge rooster tail. Twin 5682 and twin Swordfish 240A? Do you have a data logger to see what amps you're pulling?
I've use different motor for 12s and 10s. 12s setup, I've use leo 5692 730kv and 10s would be turnigy T5682 1050kv. In term of speed, for 12s I've only manage to get around 60mph and 10s around 76mph. I don't have any datalogger so I have no idea how much amp that it pull.

Gents; 1320 on 6s gives you 29220 rpm. with a decent prop.-------I was reading on caps; buy a cap bank. I use same size caps from Minnesota and fast service. I try and use smaller caps than 1000 as the smaller caps which takes many caps dissapate heat faster. Buy a bank and remove existing caps but you can keep existing caps and solder same size # on existing caps and solder bank on the the power wires. Nows here's the catch, it makes esc more combursome to place in boat. Now there was a guy who soldered caps 3 high and cap wires had the covering off servo wires to cover 3 high wires so shorting wouldn't occurr. I do that when i change or add caps. I know it sounds like i'm half a bubble off but never a problem, I also sand my fets flat so all the fets work and get cooled.

As you can see the way i play in the video with 2x6s 5800 mha parallel(6s 11600mha)i got around 20 min of playing time. And the prop is prather 240(53,8mm Diameter and 3,3 pitch). The motor can handle a larger prop(prather 245)on my setup,i will test it and give you the results .

The target is, with a realativ low-budget setup, to get the most speed possible
What do you thing, how fast ist realistic?

I think the answer should be in the lines of this below since you're using the same hull. Just depends on the exact KV and lipo setup. Mel's cat looks pretty fast in the video but he said that was only ~60mph. I'm not sure if he has a video of it going 75+. Pretty impressive.

Twin 1320kv on 6s should push your hull into the 60's for sure

                                very nice!!! Really impressive
At first 60mph are really ok, but für future, I hope to reach 80-90mph And up to 100mph, but than I need Lehners...

I think, you know the vid from Timo Heinrich with topspeed above 180km/h

                                Timo Heinrichs setup: LMT 3040/6 (diameter 60mm / length: 80mm / 1750kv ) and Schulze 333WK
My problem: The Lehners and the HV esc are to expensive

                                I have 4 x 3S1P 5000 45C and 2x Turnigy 180...
