Hey guys what is probably the best timing for a leopard 4074 1400kv runnin 6s through a seaking 180?

I had my 2200KV at 15 degrees but brought it back to 11, it ran a bit cooler, and i couldnt notice any difference in speed

What timing should the a 2200kv run on 4s? I have my T180 set to 3.75* and runs as cool as a cucumber.

the cell count vs timing is not very useful, if you are running a high- pole count, 5S motor on 6S, you want lots of timing, if you are running a 2- pole, 8S motor on 6S, you wouldn't want high timing.

Yeah, I run 18.5 in my Pursuit...180 esc/ 4074-2150kv/x642/6s 5000mha 30c ballastic acceleration and speed but at heat cost and not a good runtime, guess we get what we pay for...hightiming=high temps!

Cell count and pole count as usless when determing motor timing. It is all relative to the wind type of your specfic motor. D wind motors enjoy lower timing 0-7.5 degrees, Y winds enjoy higher timing 7.5-15 degrees.

Way to much timing, and way to much voltage. IMHO your setup needs a whole lot of work, the amount of amps this setup is pulling matched with the excessive rpm your motor will not survive very long. Like I said JMHO. Please do not take offensive, just a heads up because the way your running it's not if something will blow, it's when....

Yes I realise I'm running on a knife's edge, so I have taken Keith Bradley's advise and detuned to 11 deg and 4s....
