Neu motor vs. Kb

I here a lot of people are running these Neu motors (1515 & 1521)....Are the KB motors OSE has comparable to the Neu's?? For example say the KB 8xl at 1700KV compared to a Neu 1521/1.5D at 1860KV??? Is OSE going to start selling Neu motor on this site?? I am interested in both of these motors for a Titan 33" Aeromarine hull ...Planning on running 5S lipo and Hydra 120...Any advice would be a big help!!:D

Depends on what you want.
The Neu is a top quality, rebuildable motor with lots of power. The KB45 is a motor built to a price point. Nothing wrong with it, but it is not in the same league as A Neu.
If you are sport running the KB may be a good choice and easy on the budget.

I want a fast, easy, reliable, and powerful set up that will last a long time running 4S or 5S lipo....So I can switch the system out from time to time, in my Titan 33 and Mean Machine Cat.... Just find the right props and this should be an interchangable system..right???

The Neu motor is a 4 pole motor and the KB45 is 2 pole. Its like comparing apples and oranges. The Neu is best, but more expensive. The KB45 is more like a Lehner 2250 motor.

I have been running Feagio XL motors (changed to ceramic bearings) from OSE...I have had good luck with them but want to try something new....Is the KB on par with the Feagio, just larger can size??

The number of poles on a motor are not a significant reason to chose a motor. Review Jay Turner's excellent advise in a recent copy of RC Boat Modelling in regards to brushless motors. Quality and power are the issues, I, perceive that you desire. If that is the case look at Neu and Lehner motors but as Reddy states they are expensive,

For my set up, what would work best, Neu 1515/2.5D (1700kv) or step up 1521/1.5D (1860kv)........Is OSE gotng to stock Neu??

I would recommend the 1521-sized motor. It has more mass to handle more heat, and it produces more torque than the 1515. I use a 1521/1D (2800 Kv) with 4S in a SAW application, and it has been used for oval hydros too. The 1.5D would be the one for you. After running the 1521 for so long, the 1515 looks pretty small!

Where in Texas are you txboatpilot? The HOTMBC runs twice a month in Katy, and we travel to Carrolton once or twice a year too. Any chance we can hook up sometime?
