"We wont tell you anymore..."
Like no max wattage, then they recommend a 100A controller for a 110 amp motor, etc. The price seems too good - about 1/3rd that of a comparable Scorpion - hope it works out for you.

From my latheOriginally posted by vasy View PostI was thinking of getting one, but shaft is 6mm, where do you get 6mm flex cable to motor connector, they all seem to be 5mm?
for $61nzd shipped here I cant really go wrong, Plus its not for club racing as there is not currently a class for the boat its going into.

pretty sure OSE sold some 6mm couplers for the KB45's when they sold them.
If not try Jeff Wohlt on OSE

FYI, TURNIGY outsorced the design and manufacture of this motor to the same factory that makes HACKER motors.Last edited by crabstick; 05-17-2010, 03:15 AM.

Got this motor today. looks to be very large and well constructed, I cannot fault it visually.

Looks cool, Turnigy are labeling some good gear at the moment. I am using their digital servos in all my boats. They have a high torque normal size that I have replaced the 1/4 size servo on the rudder in my gasser and it works faultless !!

Could you please measure the mounting hole dimension on the motor. I have purchased 2 for a twin cat I am preparing.
Thanks you,
Ray

Hi Ray, I checked this last night and they are 24mm from center to center according to my verniers

Just an observation, but those motor wires look fairly light. Do they have the gauge printed on them?IMPBA: 7-Time FE World Record Holder "Don't think outside the box. Rather, refuse to admit that the box exists in the first place!"

they do look a little thin, but they are very solid as in hard to bend. I think due to the low amp draw that these motors are known to have they should be ok.
