Hi MGM owners

A little help please

My 1. ESC as of this morning Will not connect to computer (any computer in the house)

2. Does not make motor spin

3. Servo moves, no lights on side of unit

I can not believe this expensive ESC failed please tell me how to reset it??



P.s. the water tubes (well 2 of them) were loose and pulled out when I was fitting the water tubing

This isn't good. These things are supposed to be pretty much the best you can buy. Contact the seller or more about it.

Did you use it with the Lehner 1940/7 on 6s? If so, what prop did you use?

See if it will let you update the software on the esc. I had one that acted like this and this is what MGM had me try and it worked. I don't have the procedure with me, can have it later tonight.

Unfortunately I don't have the instructions, they're on the old rocketcityracing site. Going from memory, open controller software on pc and hook up usb module, hook up the esc and turn on power. Go to the system tab, firmware update should be available. Click on it, turn off then on the esc. It should attempt to upgrade firmware. If this doesn't work then you'll have to contact MGM.

This is a handshake error (communications) between the PC and the Controller. Try to re-install the software or download the newest version directly from MGM's website. The installation disc could have a corrupt file or more on it. Once connected you can do a Firmware update through the software. Make sure you have the correct version for your controller. There are currently 3 different software programs.

@nata2run UsBCOM5 board is blinking green light , controller no lights.

@jj2003 done, using v3.0.5, software sees USBCOM but not controller

Hmm, so one more question... when you plug in the lipo, any lights sound? you did mention no light, but sound at least?
