turnigy 180 esc and miss geico

I am new to boats.

I just picked up a miss geico, and ordered a turnigy 180 amp esc. The stock motor in the miss geico is a 1500KV I think it is 45amp

my question is,

Can I run this esc and motor combo?

I know of people that have but have had to pay close attention to temps since they changed props as well.
