    Turnigy 120 VS Castle 120?

Which ESC is better suited to 4S in a 30 inch cat? I have a 3650 series 6 pole Aquacraft motor (1800kv) and am not looking for MAX speed. I just want something reliable with an adjustable LVC. The aqua craft LVC is set to 6 volts... which is too low for my liking.

Im just wondering if there is a consensus as to which of these ESCs is the best. The Castle is 3 times the price of the Turnigy... but I've heard very good things about Turnigy marine ESC's

    Any help would be great.

    120amp may be too low....

    -4S2P?
    -what prop?

    My temporary suggestion is:

    Or one of my favorites:

You can get some of them at HobbyKing but sometimes they are goofing up on orders and the real rollercoaster begins.....

OSE = for sure and they speak English.....

Get the Turnigy. 120 amps should be plenty with that motor.. however, the T-180 is very inexpensive as well.

The setup is 2s 2p and the prop will be a 42X55. Not really sure what else would effect things.

Im looking at the 120 only because the boat comes with a 60 amp ESC stock. i figured double the amps would be more than enough. The turnigy is just so much more affordable VS the castle I think ill go for it when the time comes. Thanks for the suggestions.

I ended up with the Turnigy 120... for $55 shipped it was just too good a deal to pass up. Hopefully its an upgrade from the aquacraft 60 amp I have now.

Ill probably end up with a different motor at some point but the weak point in my last boat (aquacraft UL1) was the ESC so this seems like a smart move for now.

I have a 120 turnigy. Works great. Just make sure you tighten the water inlet nipples or you will be having troubles.
