24 volt power supply

Does anyone know of a rock solid 24v supply? I mean that can deliver 75+ amps reliably?

I have the kind made of two pc supplies wired in series from two suppliers and they can't hang. Fail. Glad I kept my Rivergates. Always work every time but I have to drop down to nothing for charge rates. When you're charging 8 boats per round it's taxing.

Is there anything out there that is truly designed to push 24 volts under load?

The Revo looks good but still only 55amps.

He could probably deliver it to the Can Am.

John, that's one of the failed supplies.

I have two bulldogs. Great for 12 volts. Super reliable. Of you want some big power they can't keep up at only 12 volts.

I remember Pete Steinke had a nice power supply he used to charge directly to hid Dewalt A123s at 30 amps. It had separate voltage and current adjustment. Like a 50v 50amp or more lab type PS...

That would need a big generator to supply it.

I use Mean Well and Lambda power supplies for my charging. Mean Well are great middle grade power supplies, but are not cheap for the hobbyist compared to the recycled server power supplies.

Great power supply if you are willing to invest in quality.
If you need more than 60A, I would suggest you get two smaller ones.
Unless you have a 220V plug on your generator and you better if you are trying to charge over 2000W.

Those are both Server Power supplies also.
Terry already tried them, with NO luck.
I know that I have been running the 24V-75A HP supplies for a few years with No problems at all.
