Mobile charging station

So I wanted something portable for charging my batteries lake side.
I would need to haul around a marine deep cycle battery to power my charger.
Started with this.

And wanted to run 2x deep cycles for 24v supply

A little bracing and some plexi glass.

Looks good, how sturdy is the handle , can this take repeated pounding on not so smooth ground?
Pardon my ignorance, how many volts is that? 12 or 24?

So this set up worked great but was VERY heavy and difficult to toss in the car and go.
I found that after 3 days of use I had barely discharged the two deep cycles.

I decided to remove one deep cycle batt and reconfigure the set up.

In addition to more storage space via a clear, hinged charging platform, I added some usb ports to charge mobile devices and power a pair of external laptop speakers for some lake side tunes.

The handle is steel and very sturdy. It handled dragging it around, with the duel deep cycles (24V), for a long three day weekend. Along gravel walkways and up/down steps No problem. We guessed it weighed right at 100lbs.
V2 is now only one deep cycle (12V) and a good bit lighter.

Something to consider also is to add a large solar panel to the top surface to recover some reserves as it sits in the sun. That could be useful for extended outings with no access to a lead acid charger.

nice looking setup seems like the weak link is the plastic tool box especially with two deep cycle batteries in it.

Very true. This is one reason it is now only holding one deep cycle battery.
