Hyperion Charger repair? Can any of you fix it?

Just as the title says. Hyperion has no road to repair. I tried the US distributor but they never replied even after a few attempts. Can any of you electronic gurus fix it. It is a Duo and one side stopped working. It gets to the Battery check and errors out.

I would hate to throw it away.

I had one side of one of my Duo's go also. Would love to get it working again. I keep getting an output error.

Me three. It seems a bit intermittent but one side(left if looking at it) comes up with 'output error'.

Could be broken solder joints inside on the pins for the balancer. I'd try to re-solder them first.

In my case I've tried a non balanced charge with the same result.

hmmm..... thinking.... I know a guy that fixes audio smp pcb's. Wondering if he could fix something like this... I'll try to get a hold of him.

What is the charger worth new and what would a reasonable repair charge be in your estimation Howard?

I'll try switching some leads around.

Was there any resolution to repairing Hyperion chargers?? I just had the display go blank on one of my DUO615s in the middle of cycling new packs. It faded in and out a couple times then quit displaying altogether, the green background is there just no readout.

if you go over to RC Groups I bet you can find someone who can tell you how to replace the part and maybe even tell you where to find it.
