    corroded balance lead

Due to running in slightly salty water some of my Lipos wont balance charge as the plugs are a little corroded and although i can use a lipo checker which reads correctly (after a bit of jiggling) the charger errors when plugging the balance leads in.

Some of my cells are now more out of balance after a season of just normal charging (0.5v out in some cases) some i am keen to fix this and get them balanced correctly.

I have purchases some new balance plug which has worked on some packs but others despite the new plug must be corroded on the cell side?

    Any advice?

    Matt.
The only way to fix them is to open the end of the pack & resolder the wire. I've done it to many packs for both myself & other club members.
There are many instructional videos on youtube. Here's one.

Pay heed to all the safety instructions if you do attempt it though. If you don't feel confident don't do it.
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

I use corrosion X on both battery balance plug and charger balance boards. Works great for this.
