Check the battery specs, it will tell you at what rate you can charge...DJI Drone Advanced Pilot

Yes.
My Hyperion Duo would automatically charge at 8 Amps with that setting. That's a 1C rate. But the Amps can be adjusted separately up or down in the menu if so desired, while still leaving the capacity at 8000mah.
I don't know what model Hyperion charger you have, but I think it would have the same function.See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

In the menu where you set the 8000mah capacity, scroll down to the next parameter & see what the current charge is set at. If it is set at 8 amps then you are fine. As long as your power supply is capable of supplying the charger at least 10 Amps.
What model charger do you have? The instructions should have the details in them.
Cheers.

Even if the pack said 5s2p, you still charge it as a 5s/8000mah. It only refers to the configuration of the cells within the pack to achieve the ratings. A 5s1p has (5) single 8000 mah cells, a 5s2p has (10) 4000 mah cells in series paralell (5 pairs, each pair in paralell, then all 5 pairs in series with each other) The end result is the same.My private off road rc track
