    upgrading my charger

Right now I have a bantam bc6 charger and it takes forever to get all of my lipo's charged. They range from 2s to 4s 5000's. I am looking at upgrading to a large multi charger setup and do some parallel charging. One I like is the ICharger 308duo with a pair of server power supplies. Has anyone used this setup or have opinions about them? I am also open to looking at others that have close to the same capabilities. I do understand that to parallel charge the batteries must be the same cell count and mah rating. Thanks for the help.

    I use a ThunderPower 820 feed by a Mean-well power supply.

I don't know anything about the ICharger but I know ProgressiveRC carries that family of chargers. I use one of ProgressiveRC's cases and in dealing with them, I know they are a top notch company. If they carry it, then it's a good charger.

Thanks for your help guys. Now just to just get the rest of the cash together. Has anyone here modded their own power supplies or easier to just buy them modded?

I do but to make sure you get the right one I would need to
know what chargers you are going to use.
My simple but powerful 12 volt 575 watts and 47 amp units
are around $55-60 shipped depending of how fast you like to
                get it and your location.
Anyways, let me know when you ready. Ill be more
                than happy to help...

I'm using a Hi-Tech X4 AC 4 port, It's a 4 bank charger that you can run wall plug or with a power source. It works great for me, I charge my 10s packs on it no problem! http://hitecrcd.com/products/charger...harger/product

I have looked at both the x4 and h4 chargers. For me I think my money might be better spent on a icharger setup. I do like ac /dc chargers for convenience. But I have noticed they are limited in power. To get just 2c I need 10amps for just one battery and somehow I keep getting more batteries..Thanks though

From my experience with icharger 208b i can say only good words.I also had an hyperion but isn't like icharger.
You can also buy 2 ichargers 208b in case somthing happens you will have the other to work with.
Ichargers are the most accurate charger you can buy.
If you consider the 308duo then better buy 4010duo.
Also they have very good power supplies.

I am still looking. the Xmas season isn't leaving much in my budget for myself. I think I will be getting one of the ichargers eventually though.

I was in the same position a few weeks ago with my new 4s packs. I had a quattro charger but only 50w per channel.

So I bought this and love it. It chargers at a good 200W per channel and is a dual charger using one screen to go back in forth.

For Bang for your Buck it's very good. Just food for thought.
