Dual battery charger

I was wondering what would be a good charger for Nimh and Nicd. Im looking for 1 that can charge 5 or 6 min and 7 or 8+ max cells. My price range is around a 100-120. Im looking for a charger that can charge 2 batt's at the same time. Any links are

With out question the AstroFlight 112D. It can charge up to 40 cells @ once. It is right around 120 bucks new. I used one for my high end Nimh and always got a great charge and my cells lasted quite a while.

I couldnt get any info from the link but do u have to use a Y harness on it?
Thank you for the link so far that sounds pretty good i have somin that im looking at that can take a lot of volts. That will be nice to have that extra cablabilaty. Once again thanks thats prably going to be my choice. Do u have any more info on the charger?

yes you will have to have the y harness. look for a good used one they are going cheap because no one uses them any more.

yes you will have to have the y harness. look for a good used one they are going cheap because no one uses them any more.

It is also very simple to just make one yourself - and a lot cheaper. Look at picture of one to see how to do it so it connects the battery packs in series. Only costs are the connectors, a bit of wire, and about 10 minutes of your time. I believe there is information in the tips and info section of this site on how to do this.

When i get better at soldering ill do that. ya i think there is a button on the main page that has it. I just dont remember where i saw it but i know what u are talking about. Thanks for the info Jim and Greg.

If you go to the online store click first on "batteries and chargers", then on "charge adapters and harnesses". There are a couple there. If you do decide to make your own you can find info on soldering Deans plugs and charging multiple packs at once in "wiring and electronics tips and info" on this site. Hope this helps.
