    Charging multiple Lipos

I was looking at the ose tips/info about charging multiple lipos at the same time..

    http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/inf...iple-packs.php

Im new here and was wondering if i could just do the same setup as this:
    http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/inf...s/yharness.JPG

but with 5.5 bullets connectors.. the same series setup as in the boat

I have a sky B6AC charger (it says dual charger?)

And I was planning on charging two 2s 5200mah packs. Wondering if this was possible and if so any tips and such. Thanks!

I only charge lipo using the balance taps. It's the safest way to charge.

EPBuddy.com sells paraboards. They will allow you to charge same cell lipos MAH rating doesnt matter at the same time. JUST MAKE SURE PACKS ARE AT THE SAME STATE OF CHARGE. WITHIN .1 to .4 VOLTS but the closer the better. Also you will need a charger capable to do this

For that charger it looks like when they say " dual " it means AC or DC power. I'm not sure it would save you any time charging one vs. both Lipos at once. Phil

With a Y adapter (series) you can charge two 2S batts together as one 4S. You could do the same with 3S and charge as 6S but that would be the limit of that charger. One drawback is that you cannot balance charge both packs this way but you can charge the packs separate every 2 or 3 cycles to keep them balanced. It normally is not necessary to balance the packs every single time but you do need to have a meter to check the individual cells in the pack. If one or more cells is more than .3 or .4V difference than the others, you need to balance charge. Balance charging with that charger takes forever! I have two of them. They are truly a great charger actually.

Here is how I do it.

When I had the first dual(12v/230v) bantam charger , and started with 6s for my trex it became to small, only 50watt. so I got he bc6-10 .
Now I have the 3010 I charger and on that 2x 2s 4000mha takes about 25 min FAST charge
and in balance mode i would guess in the 35'ish.
