How big of a power supply should I be looking at?

I just ordered a Hyperion duo charger that I plan to charge 2 4cell 5000mah packs on maybe at 2c? As well as a variety of other 2cell 5000mah packs at 2-3c. I don't plan on charging more then 2 packs at a time.

Should I shell out the $$ for a 1000watt charger or will this one get me by with 520w?

I'm open to other suggestions as well?

That one is over priced for only 40A in my opinion. The best deal is the 47A power supply from here for $50 shipped! I run two of them in series for 24V to drive my Hyperion 720 duo

You can make your own from a PSU for a computer for about $50.00.

Why bother when you can get a much higher Amp rated one for the same price? That $50 above includes shipping.

It is does not have a higher amp rating and you can build a better quality one for far less

Jim, here's another vendor I just got one from with the same but with binding posts already installed.

              dave - I run my 615i Duo3 off this and can charge 2 4s 5000 @ 2c no sweat.

Is it loud? Its hard to see from the pics where the power wires will go in that will run to the charger?

Thanks, I like that this is ready to go! Now I just need to figure out where to put it to reduce the noise?
