    charger power supply

    i am looking to buy a power supply. can anyone tell me what is an acceptable amount of ripple current.

    Chargers are quite blind(or immune) to this spec. They have internal regulators for their MCUs.

      I just scored a universal dc power supply for lap tops from my local pc shop for £2.

      15 - 24 v output

            what do the micro controllers do that negates the pressance of ripple current from less soficated power supplies?

              Are you sure a £2 PSU will do the job? What is the max current or power rating of that thing?
