    LiPo Charger Help

    Im running a 11xl on 6s with a ETTI 150a esc...
What kind of charger should I get?
I was thinking the IMAX B6... and the 12v 5a Power Supply?

I would recommend you get a charger capable of at least 8S and 10A charge rate. The 5A power supply isn't going to carry it. It doesn't cost that much more to move up in chargers. You'll be upgrading in the future if you don't do it at the outset.

A 5 amp power supply is not sufficient as when a load is placed on them, most tend to be over rated. If you budget allows, Rivergate (Bulldog Power Supplies) are excellent. I have a 45 amp version and run 7 chargers off of it.

The IMAX B8 is powerful and better than IMAX B6, so prefer 150 Watts IMAX B8, I' ve got this charger, it' s fantastic

I would suggest a 20 amp power supply as a minimum. Imax, I am not familiar with and can not make a comment. I use FMA chargers and love them...they are idiot proof and I need that feature!!

duh, hate to say it but your LHS isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer! You can't charge two 3S lipos in series with a 3S charger!!!

This is the power supply I use. I can hook up a BUNCH of chargers at the same time.

                  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Iota-...item2c53be5f26

I also connect a distribution panel to the power supply:

                  http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLWE5

The ebay seller has smaller power supplies but I wouldn't get anything less than 24 amps.

That looks pretty good! Go for it! I'm going to order one for my friend. like the ability to chart the battery on your PC!

No, at least 20A power supply, not charger. I've never seen a charger that puts out 20A!
