    Ya watched a vid of one going airborne couple weeks ago was not good took out a good strech of fence. Nobody hurt though

          Stick to 12s and 650kv. Thats a better range for a boat this size.

            Some of us who race 45" monos run 8s on 800kv and 10s on 600 to 650kv. And were 65 to 70 mph on 67 to 70mm props. On a boat that size I would run 500kv on 12s so you can run a 75mm prop or bigger. I big boat like that will do better running a big prop slower than small props faster. I would also run the TP 5870 motor on this size of boat.
