Y'know, I really haven't read anything stating that awesome results are to be expected from the graphenes. Just more stable product. Now how they 'push' that stability...

    You read this?

Here's the most interesting this in it

So... they're selling a HV battery that should never be technically charged to 4.27 or 4.35v because it will kill the lipo life? lol

If you read the link I posted that excerpt is included in it and refers to the graphenes. Means the graphenes can safely be charged to higher voltages if need be which will give you higher capacity. I'm guessing since a hv cell that revo cells starts out at (referring to the higher capacity ones only) 5000mah (it has this printed on hv cells I've disassembled) then if you charge to 4.27 it gives you 5500mah and 4.35v gives you 5800mah. That's my guess.

I did run it on 3s yesterday but it's not worth posting my results because the batteries weren't charged equally when I ran them. The graphenes were at about 60% and the hv were at 80% so of course the hv went faster. I'm gonna run it again today when I get home from work. I cycles the graphenes on my charger last night a couple times. I'm not really one to believe in breaking batteries in but I wanted to get them cycled a couple times.

kfxguy: Wasn't there something from Revoelectrix in regards to breaking in lipos? Not that cycling on the charger is particularly needed for this but Basically the gist of it is that after first few times of use it allows their chemical (electrolytes?) to fully soak the Graphene material for lipo to produce full power or something along those lines :)

Yep. Your right. I'll cycle all my new batts today when I get home. Good point.

Never? That's up to you. It WILL shorten cycle life if you charge a lipo at 4.3v/cell, regardless of whether or not it's "HV". This has been clear since day one...there's no free lunch.
Also, consider that charging a "normal" lipo to 4.2v/cell will significantly shorten it's cycle life when compared to charging at 4.1v/cell.

Now I have some data. It's not ground breaking by any means but it's data. Its probably not going to make a difference to most of you racing guys yet but I'm just getting started. First off I want to say that I ran it on 3s the other day. I ran one 3s pack only. It had two in the boat but only one hooked up. That's a tremendous load on this one battery like that. It didn't even get warm. Two regular packs will normally get a little warm. Not hot or over 105 or so, just enough to feel warmth. Nothing with the graphenes. The connector got hot tho! Lol. Guess that's a sign that they are pretty stout.

Today, I went ran on 4s. Propped down because I was scared the graphenes could possibly cause me to flip. It's running 102 right now on hv batts and I expected more pop out of these new batts. I cycled the graphenes 5 times last night on my pl6. Charged all 4 batts to 4.20v per cell. Here's the results of the hv (remember I propped down so it's slower than normal just for safety).

Here is the data log from the hv run. I'm not sure why max voltage is less than the graphenes. No idea what's up with that. All charged on the same charger at the same time.

Here is the speed from the graphenes. Not groundbreaking difference. I'd say it's a wash in the power dept. but the graph tells something else.....

Also look at the esc temp. I ran the graphenes second. Should be hotter than the first run. Good stuff! Pulled more amps and ran cooler....wha??
