Great news!Originally posted by oscarel View PostSo, something I normally don't do. Out testing esc settings and ran my HV 10s2p set down to 6%, no puffing or heat. Other brands that were run down to 20% didn't fare quite so well. Just ordered a set of the 60c's to be legal for next year..NAMBA20...Caterpillar UL-1, P-Spec OM29, P-Mono DF33, P-Spec JAE, Aussie 33" Hydro-LSH, Sprintcat CC2028 on 8s, PT SS45 Q Hydro, PS295 UL-1 power, OSE Brothers Outlaw QMono 4-sale, Rio 51z CC2028 on 8s

Just because you got away with it once, I wouldn't make a habit of running them low. Me and my buddies endurance race for 5-6 minutes plus mill and in laps on just 4500mAh, in doing that you need to run your cells pretty low or you are just giving power away to the competition, only one of my boats finishes with over 10% left and one regularly finishes with 3% left. In our experience it reduces the life of the cells, but by a pretty random amount, taking them down to 6% could make the same cells puff in 3 runs, or 30, but they will puff and sooner rather than later. If you want a decent life (100+) runs from a pack you have to leave more in them.Paul Upton-Taylor, Greased Weasel Racing.

Has anybody ordered batteries from Singapore?
Ordering from the states is not really an option anymore since USPS will not ship lipo.If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

They ship by FedX so I think you will have no problem and see it in a week or so.Originally posted by siberianhusky View PostHas anybody ordered batteries from Singapore?

Yes, that is where I bought mine last spring. Very fast shipping, had to pay a bit at the door but, they are worth it.
