Difference between these two battery checkers ?

All I can say is I use the EOS Sentry, sold by Hyperion, and I love it. It is awesome. For more money, it's worth the extra bucks because I know it works, even though it may be the same externally.

We use the EOS Sentry too. Cell readings and charge percentage are usually the exact same as the readings on my Hyperion Duo.

Yep. I too use the Hyperion Duo charger. That's why I bought the Hyperion (EOS) meter. The accuracy of the match between the meter and the charger is impressive..

I use SIMPLE algorithms in my work in fluid dynamics all the time. Fortunately for me my company software does the computations - it would take me all day on a slide rule....

BTW, in a SIMPLE algorithm, SIMPLE is an acronym for Semi-Implicit Method for Pressure Linked Equations.

Can't you just make an educated guess as to how close to done the batts are. I just wait for the voltage to go to 4.2 and when the charge rate backs down to 1-.01 amps I know it's pretty close to finishing. Knowing the exact percentage is cool, but if you already know the math and all the voltages can't you just mentally calculate the percentage, or get close enough.

Could be Eos made in Japan/Taiwan and the other china??? I know Hyperion replacement displays come out of Japan, at least the replacements do...
