Soldering made easy with The Jigs Up by MaxAmps.com

Post your favorite RC vehicle in this thread and 1 lucky winner will win a The Jigs Up from MaxAmps.com. Winner picked on 8/13.

LiPo batteries and Lithium Ion batteries for UAV, UAS, VTOL and robotics. Assembled in the USA.

    About The Jigs Up:

"The Jigs Up" makes the task of soldering RC connectors simple and easy! This jig quickly and securely clamps, holds, and releases the connector.

The Jigs Up holds the following connectors: Deans Ultra, Traxxas High-current, XT60, EC3, EC5, and Deans Micro. It also holds 2mm, 3.5mm, 4mm, 5mm, 5.5mm, 6mm, and 6.5mm bullet connectors.

The holes on top of the jig are used to hold 3.5mm-6.5mm bullet connectors. The "v" slots on the front of the jig are used to hold the 2mm bullet connectors and the pins for the Traxxas connectors. The slot on the right side of the jig is used for Deans Ultra, Traxxas, and XT60 connectors. The slot on the left side of the jig is used for Deans Micro connectors.

The way I read the first post is that if you post "I juess" A picture of you favorite RC vehicle , the post that MaxAmps likes the best will win one of those soldering jigs ?
It reads "Post your favorite RC vehicle in this thread and 1 lucky winner will win a The Jigs Up from MaxAmps"
          How do you read it?

I read it as posting a pic of one of "your" favourite vehicles. IE one that you own or built.
So here's mine. The C.H.A.R.C. (Covert Highspeed Attack & Reconnaissance Craft)

That is one sweet Hydro. Easy to see that it was hand built by a craftsman.

I didn't mean to sound like I had an an attitude, sorry if I did ?
Paul I must say that's the coolest C.H.A.R.C.'s I've ever seen, in fact thats the only C.H.A.R.C. I've ever seen.

T.C. I understand that you were just trying to clarify the wording of the original statement. No attitude involved.
As for the C.H.A.R.C. It was a project that Lockheed Martin had on the go, years ago. I don't know if the prototype ever went into production or not. I liked the concept & drew some plans up from the drawings in this article.
March 6, 2005 The CHARC is designed to provide a lethal response for some of the emerging littoral threats facing large Navy vessels including suicide speedboats packed with explosives, small high-speed boat "swarm attacks" and diesel-electric submarines. With similar offensive capabilities to that…

I was fascinated by it so I had to build one. A bit of a challenge. But a lot of fun.
                            Cheers.

Hey I think it's really cool, does it articulate like the real one ?
I can appreciate the fact you drew up plans and figured out all it takes to actually build it and make it work, doing what you did is a lot different than assembling ready to go parts.
                              Good job !
