Not to highjack, but if I send you one how much would you charge for a repair, I shorted one out and I know I prob have a crack in a solder connection

The connections should be exposed and you read directly at that point, move all that yellow wrapper outta the way.

I touched the solder point of both the yellow wire and the blue and still get 0 volts

sounds like you may be going from 1 negative to another,or if the crash was really that violent I wonder if one of the cells pulled away from board. Don't focus on the actual balance tap wires, your focusing on the cell solder points itself.
