Neuenergy lipos vs hyperion lipos

I was just wondering looking for some new cells for a .90 sprintcat with a 2028 and a swordfish 240 Hv controller. I was just wondering if anyone an let me know how the neuenergy cells are or if I should just say with the hyper ions. I am looking to run 10s2p in my setup, and any info would be appreciated.Thanks Chris g

The Neu Energy and Hyperion cells are both excellent. You'll have more capacity and cell count choices with Hyperion.

Steve Neu focuses on pack/cell configurations for FAI aircraft and big EDF jets which require special configurations. The cells he uses are very high quality. If he has a pack configuration that will work for you there's no reason to stay away. I'm tempted to try some of the new 8300mah packs for a couple applications.

Pat at RCLiPos is fantastic to deal with for anything Hyperion. Still my favorite chargers!

I heard that before about special design for edf's but I was wondering how they work for boating apps.Thanks chris g

Neuenergy SP2 are the best performing cells I've used. Over 4.0v/cell at ~120A draw.

Steve just quit bringing in every size/shape/capacity under the sun and focused on specific markets.

I have been testing some new cells that are going to give TP and Hyperion a run for there money. I have some on order and I plan on selling these batteries. They will be half the cost of the big boys and be 65c rated. I will let people know when I get them in. Maybe 3 weeks from now.
