    I think I might give the thundercat one more try. Ill try to make my own hatch and I also took out the radio box, and placed my batteries directly on the bottom of the sponsons. I never built anything out of fiberglass, so this should be interesting. Im really not sure how to go about this, so any pointers would be appreiciated. I would like to do a single bubble type of hatch, because it would keep it less top heavy, and I also rather that style rather than the hatch that comes on it. Does anyone know of someone who builds custom hatches? If so, that might be my best option for now.

        thanks rumdog. may have found a classic hatch but if not will modify the turbine hatch. batteries will go in the sponsons.
