i run a ammo 2300 in my 25" mono and runs 45 mph on a m440 have tried a 642 for a quick squirt and got 49 mph
as far as i understand if you put the same power system in 2 diffrent types of hulls you will get 2 diffrent speeds

my 31 is plum crazy and it is not even dialed in yet

the ammo 2300s dont have a lot of torque, try a m447 or detounge the prop you have s/b would be suprised if you didnt crack the 60mph mark.
for genral running tho if you can prop it for around 50mph and get it to run a oval course with out backing off it would be one sweet boat
