Yes, porpoising... I may be adding some nose ballast since the hatch is soooo far back, I am limited in my batt placement. notice in beginning of vid how far forward the batts are? I am thinking a chunk of 3/4" plywood up in the nose..... or more strut angle.

I gave her some more down strut, but she is still bobbing a little. after this run I gave it max down, have to see next run, hopefully tomorrow. She did really good though, came back reading 49 mph on GPS on 5S. She did a solid 40mph on 4S. does that mean 55 mph on 6S???
Another thing I haven't figured out is why she doesn't turn very sharp at high speeds... I have full turn available and have to let off the throttle to get her to turn.... Not sure if you can tell from this vid, but at slow speeds I have all kinds of turn, but at high speeds, I can't get her to turn sharper than maybe a 100' radius...???

This is something I had not considered... I have a high torque digital servo (traxas) that I thought would have enough umph. But now that you mention it, that could be. What kind of force in a servo do I need for this? What do you recommend?"Look good doin' it"

A digital should have enough grunt , you might have to maybe see if you can stall it manually Jesse or see what kind of power it has just to eliminate it as a possible causeNecessity is the mother of invention.............

Are you setting the end points of the serve so the rudder is only turning about 20 deg. Each way?

I think the surface area is not a problem the thing is HUGE!!!
I just tested, turned it on and went left right, well it is actually a faulty servo ROD. I gave it too much angle and it BENDs with not much force. Need to redo the servo rod (it is .078" thick enough but too much bend. I need to head to Ace hardware first thing tomorrow.
Wolf, did you run today? or you just happy to see me?"Look good doin' it"
