John, very nice.... the Delta Force is the star.....the graphics are excellent.
Douggie
Thanks, Its a knock off though, not a real DF. Last run in October 2008 was 54 Mph. A fast and very stable boat. No heat issues on that run, the air temp was
-2C at the time!
Thanks John , beautifull job on the boats BTW , I am curious why you went with a 12T , I have a Apache57 with a 3080/7 set in the 12T mode for moderate speed and great runtime but if I ever wanted more speed I could always switch it to 7T . Are you using 8awg speaker wire on the motor , I have used that stuff with excellent results . thanks for the link John .
I am presently building a 2230/1Y Sniper and the next build will be a 1527/1Y DF33
Sucks all this snow....Me and a bunch of others here are eagerly awaiting spring

Went with the 12T as I wanted to ability to prop WAY up and not worry about any heat issues as well as decent run times. As you know, these motors are brutes with tons of tourqe (as 2 broken shafts will attest too).
Its actually dual 10 guage speaker wire. Great stuff and very flexable.
I take it that the 1521 1.5 is a D wind? What prop are you turning? I'm looking into building one of these as well...
D---Yup
As for prop, I'll have to check whats on there now, that was the one I did my last run with. I bought a bunck of the Graupner props to experiment with.
