O.k. very good. I was curious of how you would keep all that straight like that. It's good to use that front bulkhead for when you're doing the back so that things are fine up front as you build along. Those front tips can wander around a bit as you do the back I found...

If you use the cut out template from wood bitz in your kit. It can be clamped to the sponson tips to stop the drift when lining up from the center line. Then brush all seems in the sponsons and beyond!! with epoxy to keep the pearl strait and true.

I got a bit more done yesterday and today.
You have probably noticed the carbon fiber strengthening that I have added to some of what I consider of the weak spots.
If you look closely, you will also notice a 4mm stainless threaded rod across the front of the front bulkhead, I have lost a sponson in the past, that this MAY have saved.
This will be covered up when I add the 1/2 round nose piece.
Lots of different size clamps.

I just had an idea. I could use some 5mm carbon rod I have, drill and tap it for 6-32 and achieve the same result but a little lighter. Lets see...

I've got 3mm SS rod threaded on the ends perfect length. I love being a pac-rat.
How thick of CF did you use to laminate, cloth or plate? I don't plan on doing it, just curious??
I think I'll us FG cloth in place of where you use CF on the next one. It probably helps take out any warps in the wood.

The carbon fiber cloth is I think 6oz. It is the same stuff that I use to do an inlay in my Mono's.
It adds 1/64" (0.015") to the thickness, therefore you have to do some extra sanding to the slots etcetera.
