Here's me fussing with a minor detail. This canopy has a slight twist up, on the front right, and the springs on these latches won't take all the twist out...

I found a screw with the right pitch and diameter. Then chucked it in a drill and wrapped a spring around it...

Here's a idea that could be used on all RC boats. Riggers, cats, v-hulls and definitely scale boats of some of those types.

I built a second boat stand. Sometimes you don't get it right the first time. It's ok, that's part of designing something, it's why you have Revision A... and Rev B... and Rev C...
Seriously tho, this should work well, it's also why it's good to practice plagiarism, and why copying something is the greatest form of flattery. The design guys are so good at what they do. And under appreciated.

Detailing the windshield. It's made from airplane heat shrink covering.
I used black pinstripes around the edge and a charcoal gray pinstripe for the center bar. The rivets are done with white paint.
I pierced the black pinstripes with a #11 exacto knife, twisted the knife and then applied the paint with the knife.
I first sprayed the paint onto wax paper, then dipped the knife in it and poked it in the hole until a dot of paint transferred...

What's it worth to you? I don't like the thought of flipping it on a SAW run and losing the tub.
If you use them, I think the 1/16" galvanized cable I used would be fine for the RSX380.
