Delta force cyber storm 33 P-limited

Thought I would share my build. This is my second delta force. First one was 10 years ago, a 22” hydro. Anyways, I wanted to set up for P-limited mono along with a friend of mine. It’s his first go around, figured it’d be a safe place to start for him. The class looks like it’s ran about everywhere.

    Here’s my parts list:
    hull: df-storm Df cyberstorm 33
    Hardware: ros-monosys Speedmaster mono hardware
    Turnfins: Ose-80092. Medium turn fins
    Trim tabs: Ros-spdt-100. Speedmaster 1”x1.5”
    Motor: dh-aqug7001 AquaCraft ul1
Water jacket: ham-ul1-sv27r OSE water jacket
Motor mount: tfl-523b58. Fully adj 36mmmount
    Esc: Ker-Seaking180-v3 seaking 180
    Servo: Hitec hs5585mh
Servo mount: OSE-80092 Cf upright for full size servo
    Batteries: Turnigy 4s 2200 mah HD 60/120c x 2 in parallel
    Battery trays: Ose-80525
    Radio: Spektrum dx5r
    Receiver: Spektrum mr4000
Prop: Octura m440 balanced and sharpened.

    Carbon fiber lay in:

Resin: west systems 205 resin and fast hardener.

Anyways, figured I’d share. Here’s build pics and a video. I haven’t had gps in yet so I don’t know actual mph.

Thank you sir. Had 3 days tuning on it. I had to start with m445, didn’t have hub spacer to get m440 on. I’d do 2-3 laps and come in. Got to put m440 yesterday and put 9 laps down on 1/8 mile, 22% left in packs, stoked!

Nice run, no chine walk I can see. Maybe more weight with more mah packs but, it runs well!

Thank you. Been through 2 motors. M440, I run a tad slow. M445, burns motor about 3-6 runs. Detounged a x442 this weekend. Won’t know if I’m in the ball park till I run with Ken next weekend. Ran 6 today and was at 38% w/442. Not adding weight by mah. I like it light. Time to pull it all apart for paint..

Thank you. Ya, it was my first mono. I’m pretty pleased with it. Propped down last week at district race, had to keep motor alive. Anyways, 2nd,2nd,2nd, 3rd.... netted a first place.

Just goes to show that consistency wins. Well done.
