2002 build Ovalmaster 21 offshore refurbish (Hi Randy!! thought you like this)

I built this boat back in 2002 I think.
This boat is old school FE royalty , it has hull by Randy, motor by Andrew Gilchrist and rc Hydros sc3 esc from Andy Kunz all original.
Its a BlewByYou ovalmaster offshore. 21 inch designed for 6-8 cells nimh.
I Overbuilt it with a very rare now Neo magnet 05 brushed 13turn triple *!**motor called a "lightning man neo" *!**this motor held several world records in rc boats and cars.

It pulls big amps and has both water cooled brushes and can. The esc is a vintage RC hydros sc3 6-12 nimh 60A continous 300A surge.
I was running back in the day 6 or 7 cell nimh on x435 2 blade or x435 three blade for fun. It can swing up to a x437 no problem.
Now its running 2s lipo 5000mah 50C gens ace hardcase battery with a low voltage led readout and buzzer alarm.
I need to make a new bushing in the strut as it has some play now but it still runs stupid fast. The lake was windy parallel to the beach on this day.
I dearly love this boat it was my first FE boat I ever built not including all the rcsurfer custom parts I used to make on rcsurfermods.

Yes it is cool to see, Now and then we race a few of them in D9 N1 with Lipo.

I still can't believe it all works still after so many years.
I cleaned the motor inside and out that's it.
I did put a new flex shaft and use a dx4c radio now what a change. My last radio was AM !
