    Hobby king Apparition II

After buy the H.K. Genesis and liking it I bought
a apparition ll. I just got it today and started to grease
It up. Sausage fingers and this hull don't mix!!
I figured if the genesis was a good boat this one should
Be also both made by tfl.
The paint looks good until you run your fingers over it
And you can feel the over spray. A little compound on a rag and buff it smooth. No biggie

While gripping the hull to polish the paint I hear a pop!!
Oh boy it's the sticky to the touch glue the motor
Mounts are glued in with coming loose!!

The hull is thin enough that I popped the other mount
Also. I need a good set of ball end drivers to work on this
    Boat.
The battery, esc, servo tray is glued to the tunnel flat
Still haven't found a spot where a zip tie will fit under it
The stingers look well made and the two props
Are brass and counter rotate. needs locknut
I don't trust those bullet nuts. The rudder seems
Small but I guess it will do the job..

All in all I guess it will run or blow up
Either way it will be fun!!!

Always thought it was a good looking boat. Hope it runs good once you sort out the build issues.

Update on the app ran it two weeks ago and it's
A pretty slug... the twin set up was pulled out
And Newboater sold me ( if it's the right motor)
Two sss 3660 1620kv motors. There real tight in
The sponsons so I'm thinking about a single motor
Apparition. Now I need all the fun stuff to pull
This off. I still have the swordfish 120 esc
        And the one 3660 motor.

        Any advice is welcome

Yes they are 3660 SSS motors, they should fit you might need to rotate the water jacket around to get the best use of the space. Then go with 120 or 150 amp ESC and go with 5s per side, and if that ain't enough go 6s. I'm pretty sure that boat would move pretty good with the two 3660 and then you don't have to be sealing up the holes that are already there for the twins. Come on Mark I can get my mitt inside the Princess.................

What advice would you like? About a single? I can advise you on that. I've built quite a few (Rivercat and apparition are the same boat made by tfl, just renamed by a company named Fightercat who used to sell the boat under the Rivercat name).

They work really well in twin or single. I like the way a twin drives but there's not much room for anything so I usually build them as singles. Here's the last one I built

                  32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) was
