Im putting the ose speed master mono system on the stealthwake.. and .150 flex shaft and dynimite 2000 kv 6 pole with their 120 amp esc.

Removing the old stuffing tube was pretty easy just twisted it out with a pair of plires.. once it was removed shaped the new k n s 1/4 inch brass tubbing fit in place.

Got the stuffing tube epoxed in and some 1/8 aircraft ply lamated to the transom with permatex plastic weld. The rutter and strut mounted up i picked up some diffrent bolts to install the strut that were shorter with normal nuts, all they send are t nuts. Now to work fab a motor mount. LET ME KNOW YOUR GUYS THINK

Well the waterjacket hits on the main Center supports stock mount is not long enough so found a pice of 1/8 thick 2 inch angle aluminum. Lots of file work later and drilling a few hole i got the motor mounted..

Got all the electronics in late last night and the flex shaft as well . All i got to do is mount the esc switch and plumb it.

I got the octura m645 blanced and mounted im using a thrust bearing on the motor. DO I NEED A WASHER IN FRONT OF THE DRIVE DOG ?

that is a big prop for that motor, it is a smaller hull so you may be ok but watch temps initially. Is it possible to slide you stinger up on the slots? You can run it as is but you may find that you have an abundance of power for a hull that size and lifting the stinger will help plant the transom an should add some stability.

you do not NEED a washer in front of the drive dog, but, do be sure to keep a gap as you have pictured.

The stinger is as high as i could get it due to where the stuffing tube goes through the hull .. im running duel water pickups one for the motor and one for the esc probably over kill but like you said its a big prop. :) This is my first crazy build. Im aiming for 45 mph :).. i had a venilon vx3 brushless system that i had retired from a rustler, used it with the solid shaft stock setup on 3s but sadly the traxxas "waterproof" esc well is not lol.. i really appreciate the imput!! Im gonna take her out for a test run this aftwr noon will try to get some video up soon

I ran a 642 prop with the same motor and ESC in my 29" V3 blackjack and it ran pretty warm. You're pushing around more hull around in the water, so start out with short runs and watch your temps. You should probably even drop the timing from 15* to 7.5* in the ESC.

As already mentioned, you don't need a washer before the drive dog. I personally run about 1-2mm more gap than what you have pictured.

I missed, or incorrectly assumed your battery selection. I thought you'd be using 6S. I ran dual 3S packs in my blackjack. So, disregard what I said about temps and timing. I have no direct experience with that setup on 2S, but you've got plenty of room to run 4S through those electronics.

Ya my plan is to run 4s thats about all you can handle on the hull 45 to 50 mph on a 23 inch hull is well crazy with its tiny narrow beam.. thanks so much for the imput

I ran that 2000kv motor and a different 120A esc in my Shockwave 26 on 4S (2 2S packs in series). I had the best luck with smaller props, like a 440/3. The larger diameter props, like a m445 were good for speed, but the boat chine walked badly and was unstable.

If that's a 23" hull a m645 is way too much prop. On my 32" cat it's a touch too big but I mange with it. You definitely should heed these guys advise. 38-40mm should be good. It'll drive much better too
