What batteries: brand, voltage, discharge and capacity? The 150amp ESC may be marginal, that motor can pull a lot of amps.

I haven't purchased any batteries yet..still trying to figure that one out. I am not a club racer, but I do want ludicrous speed. if I need a bigger esc, I will get one. suggestions? thanks fly

I'm building / rebuilding a Dumas Hot Shot tunnel hull right now due to the sentimental value it holds, but I've already started looking into what my next build will be. The Carbon fiber cheetah is one of the hulls I've looked at.

The spring cowl locks are cool but they do leak . You're doing a nice job.

Blow it up on your computer. Not much to see really, pretty conventional layout, a rat's nest of water lines, rudder pushrod with a big bend in it, long battery trays.

I bought some and lost a speed control and some other items. I have always used tape only never had any issues. Decided to get a little fancy and add some bling. Taped as usual not thinking about the spring loaded latched not being watertight. I run in some pretty rough water. Flipping is not that uncommon. I always flip back over and go. Not thinking did this after installing the latches long story short fried the esc and a 6c lipo. Sticking to tape only.

Hatch bolt ftw. I use them in everything. I use a special foam seal (I have some extra if you need some, pm me) that works excellent. It has held up in 90+mph crashes. I've lost hatches due to tape (several) I don't trust it. Yea....lets "tape" the hatch on my $1500 model. Lol. Sounds pretty elegant. Not. Lol. If you do it right, you never need tape. Anyway here's some pics of my setup
