This is very common with carbon fiber...what you can do is wet sand it and clear coat it.Dupont 7900 is an excelent clear..or leave it and enjoy your toy!Gill

If the flex shaft is off by say 1/8 going into collett, would this be enough to bind and prompt a new tube section? I think I'll try without Teflon.

It has to be perfectly aligned.

            kfxguy,
How would you recommend I get stuffing tube and mount loose from CF without destroying hull bottom? Tube has been compromised and is not straight now.

Sometimes you can twist it and it'll pop out. If not you could dremel it out carefully.

What epoxy would you go back with?
                Thanks for the replies.

Have you used one of these raider esc's in anything yet? I have been eyeing one up curious if a seaking program box will work with it

Yes I ran one in my voracity and worked quite well.

Got my stuff in to finish up. May be delay though as I have to finish another boat first for someone.

Time for an update. I had to make some changes. I didn't like the mbp rudder on this boat. It didn't work well (needed to be spaced farther out and having a spacer to do it is just a bandaide fix to me that I didn't like) not did it fit well. I bought a couple different rudders to try and ended up finding one I like. Looks and works much better.

Next I had to remove the servo arm to change the position of the linkage. Man that arm was stuck on the servo I couldn't get it off the shaft. Instead of prying it off and messing someone up, I made a tool. Check it out.

Worked like a champ! Didn't mess anything up either lol

I'm now pleased with the Rudder setup. Time to move on to the next thing. Made the brass tubes for my Teflon. I used a bending tool and got them as exact as I could.
