    Carbon fibre tape

    Hi Guys,
I little advice please. 1 have a carbon fibre hull and wanted to reinforce the join around the hull with 50mm Carbon fibre tape. My question is can I simply use fibre glass resin or is there a special glue/resin I need to use.
    Thanks Martin.

Don't use a polyester resin use a quality epoxy resin product. I would go with West systems 105/207 there are cheaper options available in smaller quantities but I haven't really used anything else.

I used to use this on my carbon inlays. It's very good for the price and I wouldn't hesitate to use it again if I was out of west systems.
