You mean a bare hull with holes drilled for drives and rudder?

Yes that would be a good seller for your company. Many people do not have those kind of tools and expertise to drill but are very good at assembly.

Ask your customers and see if there is a market.

I could do something like that, but in my experience, the demand isn't as great as you would think. So many people want to find a cheaper way when it comes to hardware. Guys will install the wrong rudder on a boat and completely destroy the handling characteristics because it was $50 vs. $100 for the correct part.
In order to pre-drill a hull, the hardware being used has to be accounted for. I do this with the 45" mystic hull we sell. I have fixtures for everything. Holes for drives, rudder, and hydraulics can all be pre-drilled for the appropriate hardware, which I also have on hand. I charge $200 for the pre-drill option, and this allows the builder to just "bolt on" all the hardware.

Sorry for the lack of updates, this one is ready to go!
I ended up using a servo mount that I had laying around (made it a long time ago for a build and didn't really like it) because it was quick and easy. I plan on covering the ugly yellow wires, but for now I'm going to just run it this way.

I dunno man, I think yellow goes well with all the black/grey carbon... makes it stand out nicely infact and are a great "color pair". Perhaps wrap the red wires in front with black...

Perhaps would go well for a black and yellow theme for paint job...

Thanks for the kind words guys.
I just took this boat for a maiden earlier this week, it ran quite well. 98mph on 5s and 114mph on 6s with no adjustments and the first set of props.
This is definitely the fastest 6s hull I've tested. It didn't take much to get it well over 100.

Keith: What makes this HPR hull that much better than anything else... like say a Daytona or Shocker, etc? The size ratio, steps, etc? I was thinking of modifying the steps on shocker to be similar to the mystic style... was wondering if that's been done before with any success...

It's definitely in the plans Tyler. Hopefully mother nature cooperates. I have 3 boats that should all be able to set records...I may have to choose which one I want to run most if we end up with a small window of flat water.

You can put a "Ferrari" body kit on a Fiero, but it's still not a Ferrari. If you want to experience a HPR, get one!
Out of the two boats you mentioned, the Daytona would be the closest, but the quality and layup is a million miles from HPR.
