HPR 115 Build

Ok guys I've been wanting to do a high quality build for a while now, and after going to the LOTO shootout a couple weeks ago drooling over the boats I've decided to pull the trigger. I'm starting with the HPR 115 bullet proof hull, HPR rudder, and drives. I have everything needed to complete the build and hope to have her ready for the Flint SAW trials, but with my work schedule it's going to be a real challenge.

Hull- HPR 115 bullet proof
Drives- HPR
Rudder- HPR
Motors- Lehner 1950/7
ESCs- MGM 25063's

I know the ESC's might be a bit much for this hull but they do have their advantages.

Waiting on the hull and hardware to get here (tracking says Wednesday) I got the ESC's and Lipos all soldered up. Can't wait to get started on the build.

I had a couple hours of free time today before work, got both motor mounts fit in place, and started drilling for the drives. Little by little I will get her done

Why 1950 and not 2250's ?

You don't think 1950's have enough power? I bought the hull and motors together so I didn't choose them they chose me lol. There are people that have gone very fast with 1950's. If they don't do what I want them to do I'll replace them with something bigger, I left room to mount 2250's if needed.

Made some more progress today, so far everything has been going smooth. Got both drives and supports mounted and they're perfectly parallel with the hull.

Ah ok nice lol. Not sure... They should be fine. Build looking good so far. You have some speed goals in mind?

Sorry guys between 14hr work days and trying to get this boat done, I haven't had any time to update the thread. After running into several frustrating problems from breaking a screw off in the rudder mount to having issues with the pull pull steering set up, and drilling the stuffing tube holes to big. I should be ready for a maiden run Sunday I just have a couple more things to button up.
