I'm not 100% sure on that one. A couple of things are going through my mind. I'm probably last on the list of OSE members to ask about hardware setup, LOL. You might send a PM to fluid & ask him about it. He's very sharp.

Thats a great looking boat!! Awesome build. FWIW, my spartan went 58 with a cnc 43mm, 5" rudder, OSE strut/.187 cable, quad tabs. Never had chine walk issues. Tried a 40mm 3 blade and it easily went over 60, then proceeded to go airborne and split the hull the entire way down the port side Lol. Curious to see what the one your building will do!!

That's my main issue with the Spartan hull. I'm going to give it a healthy dose of West Systems G-Flex 655, 105/207, 3k carbon fiber cloth and expanding foam. I'll mount carbon battery trays to the floor and move the motor and ESC down there, too. I thought I would be the first, but TheShaddix just finished an identical build and his is for sale right now in the forum. I have a 1600kv Leopard 4082 and an 1870kv TP Power 4060 sitting here. One of them will go in it with the X648, worked by dasboata.

Just one last note on this KOS build. I didn't want an external antenna at all, but had to due to the carbon fiber. So I made my own internal antenna mount and drilled a hole the diameter of the antenna tube to exit the top of the hull. No bulky antenna mounts or grommets to be seen on the outside.

Is the shape of that hull have the nose pointing up slightly? It just looks so bow high in the video, but the rough water isn't helping.

Its a fixed strut. stock one. Didnt have the issues until I added the original tabs next to the adjustable ones.

I'd understand if there was wake but it was glass out there. Before I did any upgrades that boat could take on 10" chop with no problems. Need to get back out and play with tabs I think, unless you all see something different
