With some direction from Sirislash, I found where you guys get those cool steering cable links, a company called secraft, and there's an ebay seller in the US that has a lot of their stuff. I left the wires on the cap banks a bit long before I shrinwrapped them in case I chose to flip one and connect the two sides with bullets to paralell both sets of packs as is required in some organizations, but I doubt I'll ever do that for my uses.
Well, she floats at least! Got her wet the other day, tried to hold back especially because it was gusty/windy, got a bit over 3/4 throttle and it's obvious she's got longer legs than I am used to :D
She was taking on a bit of water, and I couldn't figure out where, so the search continues on that. I never really used shot glasses the way I used to drink  , but I guess it was about 2-3 shots of water, way more than I wanted to see. I later did a pressure test on the cooling with water through a syringe and found a slight drip at one of the brass inlet/hose connections, shame on me for not doing that test before she went n the water. Definitely need to get a better servo, just a cheapo Solar low profile in right now......
I set my phone up on my tailgate for a quick video, can't see much but it's proof she runs.
