        Most of the time when I went to a gathering or a party there was 20 people or so in the back of the truck or school bus. It would really be something to get the four of us together now.

                      I got a little more done to the mold this week raised the tips and put ride pads runners 3/16 X1.125 down the sponson. I also raised the freeboard 3/8 of and inch.

                          The male plug is pres board and bondo then sealer primer and paint. toe female mold to make parts is epoxy fiberglass. Below is how a plug is started.

                              Cool. So, do you make a negative of this, and then lay the fiberglass into it? I remember you were playing with gelcoat a couple years ago as well.

                                Correct I have to finish to a shine and then lay up over the positive to make a negative. The positive will be painted with polyester sealer/filler sanded with fine sandpaper then sprayed with black paint and clear coated before the mold is made.
