That's what I was thinking about, and I've already got the Secraft ends like you have in the pic.

you perty much hit it on the head keith. i was wondering if i had to mount the cable guides to a solid piece or if i could just run them threw the hull with no mount.your answer of it helps take out the slop if the angle is too steep helps alot. i will try them first with no mount and if there is too much play i will put a mount in to hold the cable guides in place like the one in your picture.thanks again for the help.

Keith, this new hull looks very nice, and everyone reports that it performs well. Do you plan to offer it in a smaller size, such as 34 inches?

We offer one in a 25" hull. At this point, we don't have any plans to do anything in between these sizes.

DSC02689.jpg Cover will be CF with the text cut out and I'm gonna turn the text 90deg. so it looks the same from both sides (Kieth's idea)

                    It's gettin close!

Got the ESCs mounted and the cooling system done, just waiting on a couple parts and I gotta have my ESC cover cut. What do you guys think of the scoops on the hatch? Haven't put them on permenent yet, tryin' to decide weather I like them or not. Maybe make them a little shorter?DSC02690.jpgDSC02691.jpgDSC02692.jpgDSC02693.jpgDSC02694.jpg

btw what esc is that a sf200 hv or something?

I wanted to run those things a few years ago, as this is a high speed boat in an 80 mph crash they'll snap or tear up the gel coat on the hatch. Of course, your boat, but as your still on the fence with this one i figured I would give some advice considering this is a new boat and last thing it needs is to blow out some parts, especially if you don't plan on running hatch bolts.

If you're set on running this, mhz sells some very nice low profile ones and they're pretty cheap. They're designed for a mystic of this size I considered using them on my 138 but would prefer to keep things smooth in the event of a crash.

Looks better without the scoops but not saying don't use em that's just my opinion for looks and in event of a crash. Say goodbye to scoops and gelcoat / hatch.

The ESCs are SF 240 pro plus IIs the motors are Psyclone Hobbies 44mm x 74mm 1650kv. I'm thinkin' you're right about those scoops in a crash even if I do make them lower profile. I do plan on running hatch bolts, I've got some from Secraft they're real nice ones they have a seal in them and all.

I'm gonna cut one of them down to see if I like them better in a shorter version, they just look a little too tall. That will also help in case of a hard crash, I'll post pics of the shorter one.

Looking good! I say no scoops, just my opinion. I like a sleek look myself. Also, you may have done this already...I can't tell...on the sanded dry spots where you went a littler further with your sanding...touch up with a little bit of clear epoxy and a small brush. You probably did it, but I couldn't tell. Nice work as always! Can't wait to see it hit the water!
