Just starting a new build with the new bottom permanent mold. The Fiberglass boat came out great. This one is going to be built for Badger at RCCrawlers.com and will be running the Aquacraft 36-56-2030kv motor on 4S1P.

This was mine that I built a long time ago. I could race with Sport Hydros in 4S classes. I now have a friend that takes videos I will see him at the next race in August hopefuly. I will try get him to video it.

We have 2 of these running in our club. One is my personal one with a NEU 1521 on 6S. The other one runs a 8S with a NEU 1527. These boats are ABSOLUTELY incredible. They are wider then any boat in its class making them handle like they are on rails. The one on 8S was clocked over 70 and is still predictable. Just unreal. Thanks Ray the new bottom mold is great. Soon to do a new top and make it shiny.
The correct start to the setup on a strut for the Scat Cat 33 is to hold the rear of the sponsons down on a building board. Then with a 1/8 of a inch plywood sheet under the strut push it flat. Then tighten the bolts carefully not to move the strut.

This hull is so light and I wanted to keep it that way I decided to use light Ply to strengthen the center of the tunnel.

I use a short piece of flax shaft to use a pointer to show whare to start in drilling the hull to make the oval hole for the stuffing tube to go threw.

I did a little more to the chassis that I will show after the paint is done. But the boat is getting cooler, it is built real light and will be able to go fast with the power to weight ratio it has.
It is in primer now.
