You're right, now the fun part! Prime-Sand-Fill-Fill-Prime-Sand-Sand-Prime-Sand-Prime-Sand-Prime-Sand-Fill-Prime-Sand. OK I think I'm ready to paint, Damn I missed a spot. Fill-Sand-Prime-Sand, OK now it's ready for paint, there's another spot..... The hell with it I'm painting it anyway!!!!

I've already modified my GP265 sponsons to resemble yours. Will be doing the same on a 335 kit like yours. Less air trapped...
I usually put a small coating of epoxy on before any primer. I also do my filling or fillets before the first epoxy coating.
