    Hi Ernest,

sounds like you are happy with the HPR hull?

For the ClickDrives: Normally longer=better, I'd run the ClickDrive Midi unshortened if you can manage to do it.

    regards,
    Manuel

        Hi Ernest,

well the term "bulletproof" is now starting of being used a little inflationary from other manufacturers. But when HPR or I call stuff bulletproof its usually pretty tough. On the other hand you are the first who got himself a pair of those motor mounts despite me offering them for more than half a year now.

Here two pictures showing the "Click-Drive Adapters" which were available directly from HPR:

        And here two bigger ones:

        regards,
        Manuel

mhh if a few people are interested it would be worth making a few more, just for a single pair the effort is too high. So anyone else interested?

            regards,

                Question why such big motors???
I am running a Rpb skater(gas hull) mystic138 and hpr135 with 4035-800 skorpion outrunners wich weight is450 gr each.
On 10s 5000 mah each motor the run 115 kmh easely x457/2 x450/3 propshop 5514/2 with plent of running time.
5 to 8 min depending on the speed.
Running a budget but top controller ETTI 220 hv pro wich does not even get warm if you would run it all day.
Manuell has also build a hpr 135 with these motors and he rEached a max of 140 kmh with some extremer 55 mm propshop props .
Total weight ready to run is 9,7 kg hpr and 10,5 kg mystic ( wich is a carbon/keflar version with some extra carbon keflar layed up by my self)
The mystic is defenetly more bullit proof now.
Here is my "gas" rpb skater hull wich is much bigger with the same setup running ca105 kmh in race trim ca 4,5 min easely running around the gas boats.
                From 3 min 30 sec.

For my this setup is defenetly enough , the bigger engines like tp5850 will bring more weight and there for the handling in corners and lower speeds will defenetly not get better.
Also the forces in a crash will be much bigger with more weight on board.
If is al out speed you want oke but drive billety .
The 3060 lehners are perfect on 15 s in a 185 cm hull but in a 135 its completely nuts. Also the running time is very poor.
On 1x15 s 5000 mah with good props you wil get ca 3 min ( and you lipo's wont like that very much)

Hpr you will make a good decision when choosing you engines.

                Gr Ramon

Manuells 135 with only carbon props

Jens Gabel with his 4035-800 2x10 s5000 setup with max speed 144 kmh

All extreme speeds are reached with 3040 engines but keep in mind that running time is extreme short under 2 minutes or about 8 passes and only the saw way of driving ,in a straight line .
If you want to keep your lipo's alive for a longer time.

And yes a am a skorpion outrunner adict because they are very good quality ,and give me best of both worlds enough speed and long runningtime.

rscheffer those are some cool boats you've got.

A bit of frankness although sometimes difficult can be helpful when the intent is to help. The 3060 motor will be horrible in the hpr, the tp5850 will be awesome. I spin around 36,500 with these motors, loaded and haven't had an issue. You have a beautiful boat and parts, the TP motors are more than up to the task. Even look at hanspeters new 72 inch c5008, even he is running the 5850 motor in his beautiful hulls.

                      I know i had a lehner 3060-10 700 kv on 2x10s5000 x460 106 kmh 4,5 min
in one of my own hulls the mono
                      Simular speeds are reached with tp5850 820 2x10 s5000 and5850-600 1x12s8000
Is the same power /rpm as a500 kv on 15 s.
                      And i have two5850-600 tp's 4x10 s5000 total in my SV43 1.7 meter 18.5 kg 9 min 96 kmh x470 ps 6514/3
Tp's are top motors for its price , beats lehner if you dont want to be super extreme !they handle 6 to 8 kw continues easely and they are lighter too.

                        Hi Ramon,

nice for chiming in in this thread. Well I know your boats and setups and I know I built also such a lightweight HPR 135 (by the way 140km/h were not reached with some fancy PropShops but simply X457 S&B from Andy Brown, boat was extremely lightweight with just 8.0kg RTR with props and 2x 10S).

But here we are talking about a HPR 135 Bulletproof of the latest generation plus ClickDrives in full length. So I guess its not about having some fun for 5-8min, its about having extreme fun in 2-4min and going fast. And in an HPR 135 Lehner 3040's can definitely make sense especially in high rpm applications. TP motors are really good especially when you consider their price and I do run them myself but LMT 3040 is in this setup another league. As I also already wrote, 3060's are just too much, I mean the motor is 50% (!) bigger than a 3040 plus the extra weight of the 15S batteries.

I dont exactly know which speeds Ernest is aiming for but I'd guess 160+.

                        regards,
                        Manuel

Those clickdrives are great i have them om my mystic the flat under siden works perfect as trimtabs , giving the boat a super stable run.
Also the clicks are super once you set them at the same hight the clicks give them always the same hight left and right.
My hpr 135 has drives from Werner not my first choice but they where incl with the hull..
Ps mine ist fahrbereit 9,3 kg
                            Good luck with your build.
