    ML Boatworks SX-400 Build 1

    Hello All

Here is my build on the ML Boatworks SX400.

First of all this is one beautiful , well designed kit.
    It was awesome to build.
The stuff here is the after market stuff I came up with to make the build
    go even easier.

    Please see photos below.

    Sponson Finished.

    SX-400-03.jpg
Motor Mount Parts Cut on CNC.
I designed the mount so as to be able to change two parts to insert different
motors with different can sizes and bolt patterns.

Looking good, what kind of esc and what has been done to them? Wondering the goal behind what you have put together there.

Thanks to Mike at ML Boatworks who gave me some pointers on how to convert an Airplane/Helicopter ESC from
Castle Creations to a water cooled set-up.

I was wanting to have an option to use more popular ESC from the other segments of the R/C world
since it always seams that R/C Boating is the first to get booted from a company's roster of products.

Oh yeah it is a Phoenix ICE lite 200 amp ESC. I installed the Castle Cap Pack that I got from OSE into
                the body of the ESC.

I will make them, but not until I run the boat and see how everything holds up.
I am pretty sure it will all be good since it is very rigid and strong but ya never know.

What's going on here? Have you started 5 build threads for one boat? Common sense says you must be building 5 boats but it reads like you have started 5 build threads for one boat build? Please help me understand what your doing.

You should request all five build posts of the same boat be merged into one. If everybody did this it would make for impossible reading. Plus it's not....cool

I'll second that. Please ask mods to create one thread.

                          BTW, what motor is that??
